  I don't know why the other guest is stating his parents nationalities and questioning the German part of Mencia's heritage ... everyone knows he's German. In fact, Carlos being German has been on the net for over a decade.

  I hate how everyone is saying they stopped watching Mind of Mencia after the Joe Rogan incident. I didn't think that bastard was even remotely funny before Joe Rogan posted the video online. Mencia's delivery is horrible, and he has the nerve to say things that other comedians are afraid to say. Bill Hicks and Doug Stanhope only two of many comedians that come to mind when I think of edgy material. I wish people would stop listening to hack comedians (i.e. Dane Cook, Carlos Mencia, etc.)

  Very interesting, I'm from san diego (http://www.sandiegoclubs.com !) and they did an interview on him for a local boutique city guide (http://www.discoversd.com/) and he pulled the same crap. That's just crazy that he resorted to stealing others work as I'm sure he could afford to work with an exceptional writer if he couldn't come up with his own material.

  I stopped watching Mind of Mencia after two episodes. I watched the series premiere, then the next episode, and that was it.

  I stopped watching Mind of Menstealia when I saw Joe's site about this crap. I had been watching Menstealia do stand up since back in the early 90s...whenever he'd come on I'd be like.. "Watch this guy, he's hilarious.."

  I get sick and tired of, one after another, this comedian and that comedian whining that “Oh no, that guy stole my material because he used one of the same words I did on my show.” Or “That comedian stole my material because he talked about the same subject.” The comedians that start this kind of garbage were just spoiled little brat kids that got everything handed to them on a silver platter, and when they see someone that got something that they wanted, they throw a tantrum.
  
  Think about this people...
  
  In all of comedy history, in one way or another, it has already been said. In that case, if Carlos Mencia is a thief, then that would make every comedian a thief throughout all of history right down to the first comedian. I have been a fan of comedy since I can remember and I have seen comedian after comedian talking about the same subjects, using similar words, but they all have a slightly different approach and execute it differently. I like Mencia’s raw nature and approach.
