I guess it's not a surprise that Paris Hilton's parents were upset by the sentence their daughter received on Friday, but it's puzzling to me why they were as shocked as they were. The courtroom sketch artist, Mona Shafer Edwards told People magazine about Paris' mother Kathy's outburst in the courtroom. She said that after the sentence was given, the courtroom emptied and Paris started crying which was followed by Kathy going towards the attorney's table and shouting:
"I can't believe this, I can't believe this."
